These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Underdial ("the app") and the website at https://underdial.com. By using the app or the website, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Underdial. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Underdial has no sign-in and no user accounts. Your box, wrist settings, and check history are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any backups you choose to keep.
Underdial Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple through the App Store. Key terms:
The free app gives you two full watch checks plus unlimited browsing and collection tracking. Underdial Plus unlocks unlimited checks, the cheaper-alternatives list on every result, the full Box Audit, and the reasoning behind each verdict. Current pricing and the up-to-date list of what each tier includes are shown in-app at the time of purchase and may evolve as new features ship. Continued use of an active subscription after a feature change constitutes acceptance of the updated tier definition.
Watch detail pages and selected articles may include “Buy from” links to third-party retailers. These are affiliate links delivered through the Awin network: when you click one and complete a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This does not affect the price you pay.
Affiliate links are clearly disclosed on every buy screen. Underdial is not a retailer and does not sell, distribute, or ship watches. Your purchase contract is with the retailer, and any questions about pricing, shipping, returns, warranty, or product authenticity must be directed to them.
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.
Verdicts, redundancy flags, cheaper-alternative lists, and Box Audit insights are best-effort guidance based on catalog data and the parameters you provide (budget, wrist size, and the watches in your box). They are not professional, financial, or investment advice. Watches are a personal and sometimes subjective purchase — treat Underdial as a second opinion, not the final word, and confirm specifications and fit with the retailer before you buy.
No abuse, scraping, reverse-engineering, or interference with the service. We may restrict access for conduct that violates these Terms.
The Underdial name, logo, design, and code are our property. Watch brand names, model names, reference numbers, and product imagery are the property of their respective owners and are used for informational and identification purposes only.
Underdial is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Catalog specifications, pricing, and availability are general reference and may not reflect every variant, region, or change by the manufacturer or retailer. We make no claims about the condition, authenticity, or suitability of any watch sold by a third-party retailer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app or the website shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the prior twelve months. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service, including loss of data or a purchasing decision you made using the app.
Because there is no account, your data lives on your device. Use the in-app reset (Settings → Reset Data) or delete the app to remove it. This cannot be undone. Removing the app does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription — manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
